Namine woke up with a bad headache. She slowly tried to stand up from the floor. 'What's gotten into him? Why did he do this to me w-why?!' She fell back to the ground on her hands and knees. Namine began to sob. Her father never acted like this...And to blame her for her mother's death? She wanted to call Sora, but she knew he would be so worried. She went to the bathroom and saw millions of bruises on her arms and legs and a little bump on her head.

"Ow..."

Namine looked outside and didn't see her father's car. She sighed with relief.

"I can't stay here anymore! I have to get out of here..."

Namine went upstairs and packed all of her clothes into a big suitcase. She also packed any other stuff she would need. She had no choice but to go to Sora's house. Kairi and her parents went away for the break. Namine grabbed all of her things and headed for his house. When she arrived, she rung the doorbell and patiently waited. Sora opened the door with a confused look on his face.

"Hey Nami...What's up? Hey, what's with all the bags?"

"Can I come in?" Sora led her in and she dropped her bags. He continued to look confused.

"Namine?" Namine looked at him and didn't say a word. "Why are you wearing this jacket? And these jeans? It's so hot outside. You're crazy!" When he tried to take her jacket, Namine quickly jerked back. Her eyes became blurry and she ran into Sora. She wrapped her arms around him tightly and sobbed into his chest.

"Wha-What's wrong?! Stop crying, please..." He ran his fingers through her hair to calm her down. When Namine's sobs got quieter, he decided to speak again. "Tell me what's wrong Nami." He said gently.

She slowly took off her jacket and revealed to him all the bruises and cuts that were on her arms. Sora's eyes opened wide and then he clenched his fists.

"Who did this to you?! I swear when I find that person I'll kill him!"

"S-S-Sora..." Namine stumbled to the ground, but he caught her and carried her to his room. Sora lay her on the bed and sat next to her. "My dad." She whispered.

"What?! You're lying Nami...He wouldn't." Namine bit her lip to hold back more sobs.

"Yes he would!" She shouted. She was angry at father and herself. Sora held her in her arms.

"Let's not even talk about it...As long as you're ok now." He gazed into her eyes and slowly leaned towards her. Namine's stomach dropped as he slowly pressed his lips against hers...

'What is he doing? Is he just trying to cheer me up or...?' Namine ignored her questions and closed her eyes. 'Is this something more?'
